Summer weather is upon us and many of you are beginning your Summer projects and cleaning up your yards. Because of this, we are seeing a lot of new customers and/or returning customers who have not been to our yard in quite some time.
In order to help ease any confusion and to make your visit go as smoothly as possible, we thought it best to put out a quick and friendly reminder as what to do when you first arrive:
1. Stop at the Stop Signs. Just outside our new office (new gray building) you will see some stop signs (a picture of one them is below). Please pull up to them and stop, just like you would at any other stop sign.
2. Stay In Your Vehicle. One of our staff will come out to greet you and get you checked into our system. Please stay in (or next to) your vehicle so that he/she can easily find you to complete the check-in process. It can make for a confusing visit when you wander into our office to get checked in, while at the same time we are already outside trying to find you--and you're not there. So save yourself the hassle, sit back, and relax in your vehicle. We've got you covered!
3. Be Patient. The same person who works check-in is also in charge of running the scale. Because of this he/she may not run outside to greet you immediately--instead, they may be in the middle of weighing up another customer. Please wait patiently until someone comes out to greet you. We promise that we aren't ignoring you!
4. Listen & Ask Questions. We have changed how a few things work around here, and for that reason our staff will instruct you on how to use the scale, where to put your material, where to receive payment, etc. Be sure to listen to what they have to say, and ask questions if you don't understand something. They will be more than happy to answer any questions you have. Remember, the only silly question is the one you don't ask!
