In order to further reduce the possibility of person-to-person transmission of the COVID-19 virus, we encourage you to stay at home during these challenging times. However, because we need to ensure that we can continue to service other essential/critical businesses, we are once again making changes to our inbound traffic.
As before, we will continue to operate during our normal business hours of 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. However, effective Monday, March 30th, 2020, we will now ONLY accept material from our Industrial, Commercial, and Farm/Agricultural customers. No material from the general public will be accepted. Additionally, acceptance of loads will be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
What does this mean for you?:
ONLY INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL, AND FARM/AGRICULTURAL producers of scrap may sell us material at this time. If you do not fall under one of these categories, please be patient and wait to bring us your material at a later date, presumably when the “Stay in Place” order has been lifted.
CALL AHEAD as deliveries of material will be made BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call us before your arrival so that we know when to expect you. To contact us, please call 989-269-6829.
Pull up to the GATE and PHONE us upon your arrival. The gate to our facility will be closed, so calling upon your arrival ensures that we don’t miss you. Someone will then let you in, inspect your load, and give you further instructions.
The following will still hold true:
We are only accepting LARGE loads of material at this time. This means large trailers, dump trucks, and semi-trucks full of steel. Any loads the size of a pick-up bed and smaller will not be accepted. LARGE loads of non-ferrous material from our industrial/commercial accounts will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Customers will only be allowed in our facility ONE AT A TIME.
STAY in your vehicle. The only exception to this may be when you are removing straps/tarps and unloading your steel in our scrap piles.
Please only ONE PERSON per vehicle. This means just the driver of the vehicle only.
DO NOT ENTER any of our buildings. We will bring your weight slip and check to you at the end of your visit.
Keep a DISTANCE of at least 6 feet between yourself and our employees at all times.
STAY HOME IF YOU ARE ILL or experiencing any symptoms like fever, coughing, sneezing, or difficulty breathing.
As before, the above will be strongly enforced to ensure the safety of everyone during these challenging times. We also will continue to follow the guidelines as set forth by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
