The forecast for the next three days is showing a daytime high of 8, 5, and 11 degrees, respectively. BRRR!!!
As you can imagine, these cold temperatures make it quite uncomfortable for our employees and customers to unload material. However, temperatures like this are even more damaging to our hydraulic equipment; they cause hydraulic lines and tanks to freeze and can cause hydraulic cylinders to crack--and that's IF the equipment will even start up in the first place.
In order to avoid a breakdown (or multiple breakdowns) that could hinder our ability to provide top-notch customer service, D&W Salvage has decided to close temporarily while we wait for the cold snap to move through our area.
D&W Salvage will be CLOSED:
Monday, January 20th, 2025
Tuesday, January 21st, 2025
Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025
We will resume our normal business hours at 8am on Thursday, January 23rd.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we look forward to serving all your scrap iron & metals recycling needs when we return.
